Matlock Meadows
Situated on Masson Farm, Matlock Meadows is a coffee shop, dairy farm and real dairy ice cream parlour. Set in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, Matlock Meadows has a great array of ice cream flavours on offer, all made from milk produced by their own herd of cows. Located about half a mile out of Matlock’s Centre, the farm boasts fantastic views over Matlock and Derwent Valley. The pleasant views even go out as far as Derbyshire’s famous town of Bakewell and Chatsworth House.
Matlock Meadows also run events on the farm, including craft fairs, birthday parties and group visits.
As well as the multitude of ice cream flavours on offer, guests can also enjoy the company of the farm’s pets, micro pigs and lambs. The farm is also home to chickens, calves and rabbits which can be seen from the ice cream parlour.
A family run business, visitors will soon be able to witness the milking as it happens. Set over 200 acres with a herd of approximately 90 cows, Matlock Meadows is set along The Limestone Way Walk, and is a great place to stop by for a scoop of real dairy ice cream or two.
