For those with a taste for real ales, the Thorn Tree Inn has quite a selection. With seven to choose from, the inn also serves lagers, bottled beers, ciders, draught Guinness, and an array of spirits. Fruit juices and soft drinks are also on offer, along with wines by the glass or bottle.
Everyone is welcome at this friendly, cushy inn, which boasts fantastic views over the Derwent Valley, stretching as far as Riber Castle. Visitors can sit and soak up the sun from the inn’s terrace, or enjoy the Derbyshire countryside from their heated outdoor canopy. The inn is also pooch friendly, with visitors often bringing man’s best friend along to relax.
The Thorn Tree Inn serves homemade food at certain times of the week, and also offers free Wi-Fi for guests.
Every Tuesday evening, the inn plays host to home matches from their two darts teams, guests are also welcome to play, so why not join in and give it a go!
